read terms carefully before using our reservation system.
HOTEL T'POINT, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the
Hotel) offers this internet reservation system (hereinafter referred
to as the system) on the specific condition users agree to this
Agreement in full and will use the System in accordance with the
Agreement.
Article 1 (Observance of the Basic
Rules)
1. The Users are required to observe generally accepted manners,
morals and technical regulations when using the Internet.
2. The use of the System for commercial purposes, such as making
reservations for a third party for profit, is strictly prohibited.
Article 2 (Breach of the Basic Rules)
An acted caused by the third party may inflict a loss, trouble or
an obstacle to the hotel system. Therefore, the user who is determined
as unsuitable may not be accepted to use the system.
Article 3 (Troubles Caused by Users'
Computer Environment)
Usage of the System is limited to those who have properly set up
their computers and have an e-mail system (in Japanese). The Hotel
shall not be held responsible for any losses or damages caused by
usage of improperly set-up computers. The Hotel shall also not be
held responsible if the System does not operate properly due to
causes beyond the Hotel's control.
Article 4 (Conditions Governing
Usage of the System)
Usage of this System is limited to those who agree in full to this
Agreement. When users make reservations through the System, the
Hotel understands that the user has agreed to the Agreement in full
and will use the System in accordance with the Agreement.
Article 5 (Rules for using reserved
products)
When using the reserved products, the user are expected to acknowledge
and respect the regulations of the hotel.
Article 6 (Priority of System Reservations)
Reservations requested through the System shall not be extended
priority over our website made through other means (i.e. by telephone
or through the Hotel's reservation offices, etc.). Therefore, some
reservation requests made through the System may not be accepted
when rooms are not available.
Article 7 (User Responsibilities)
1. The users shall be responsible for their conduct and the results
of any conduct realized through their mail accounts or credit card
numbers, whether or done in error or not. Furthermore, users cause
a third party damage by using the System, the users shall be responsible
for such damages and must settle all disputes with the concerned
third party as their own responsibility and expense, except in cases
damages are the fault of the Hotel.
2. The Hotel retains the right to claim damages and require the
user to pay damages when the user has caused the Hotel and/or the
System damage due to any of the following conduct;
(1) Breach of this Agreement, the Hotel's Article of Accommodation
or the User's Agreement.
(2) Transmission or writing-in of harmful computer programs.
(3) Transmission or writing-in of third party's information.
(4) Any conduct against Japanese law.
Article 8 (Questions Regarding Reservations)
It is best to contact the hotel directly by phone regarding any
questions about reservations.
Article 9 (Cancellations and Changes
in Reservations)
When Users cancel their reservations (the day prior or after the
day of your reservation) for their own reasons, they shall be charged
for cancellation in accordance with the Hotel's Articles of Accommodation.
Article 10 (Items Needed When Using
the System)
To use this System, the users must have the following items;
1. An e- mail account.
2. A personal computer connected to the Internet.
3. The users are required to enter all the required personal data
in the reservation form provided online. If personal data input
is insufficient or imperfect, reservation will not be valid.
Article 11 (Changes to the System)
The operation of the System or the System itself may change without
prior notice when deemed necessary by the Hotel. Users are therefore
required to read this Agreement each time they use the System.
Article 12 (Suspension of the System)
The Hotel may temporarily suspend the System without prior notice
to users when;
(1) Maintenance or upgrading activity is done on the System.
(2) Natural disaster, force major or other emergencies occur, or
when there is a danger of such an emergency.
(3) The Hotel deems it is necessary to suspend the System for reasons
related to operations of the Imperial Hotel home page or the System
itself.
Article 13 (Governing laws)
The System shall be operated and used in accordance with the laws
of Japan.
Article 14 (Validity of the Agreement)
This Agreement is in effect from June 19st, 2006.
